Finished Socks

I finally finished these socks last night - the pattern is Knitty's Pomatomus and the yarn is from angoravalley.com (lacewing sock - 100% superwash merino, color citrus). I started out on size 1 needles but had to rip them out and move up to size 2 because they were too tight. They took me 3+ weeks, which is about the quickest I've ever made a pair of socks. This pattern was really fun - clear, easy to follow and just a little challenging. I will probably be buying more of Cookie A's patterns soon. Now I have to go check my stash and decide what socks to make next.

These are so much fun! I love how they are similar to the fresh socks--funny that you two chose such similar colorways!!

Lookin' good! :) I love how bright the yarn is. Gosh now I really have to try that pattern out.

Wow! I really like what the pattern did to the yarn. I'm going to have to check it out. Well done!

I really love this pattern. It is the one Cookie A did on Knitty Gritty, right? But when she mentioned she liked complicated patterns it scared me - you did a great job on this!

I don't watch Knitty Gritty so I'm not sure if it was the same pattern. I didn't think Pomatomus was that complicated, but I have knit lace before. I've ordered two more of Cookie A's patterns...I think her socks are gorgeous.
