What's on My Needles

Hello! I just joined the KAL. I seem to be suffering from some Knitter's Attention Deficient Disorder, as I just counted and I have five different pairs of socks in progress (some many years old, oops). I am working hardest on the leftmost pair at the moment, the Jaywalker made form Austermann Step yarn. I did finish another pair of Austermann Step Jaywalkers last weekend though, so I am capable.

Wow, 5 pairs! I just have 2 OTN right now. I do have other projects, though, that have been sitting around fora few years.

Ha! I'm trying to stick to one sock and one other project at a time. We'll see how long that lasts...

Think of it as being way ahead of the rest of us toward your 12! :D

I keep one pair on size 0s that I'm slowly plugging away on, and then a pair on 2s or 3s to knit up quickly so I don't go crazy. :) It is nice to have a couple of different projects, that way you can have the easy parts for when you're leaving the house and going to be knitting and distracted, and keep the heel turns/toes/etc for the time when you can really concentrate!

Traci, you're exactly right about having multiple projects so sometimes you wan work on something easy that doesn't require much concentration!
